You should make sure that you pay
your rent every Monday. However if you decide to pay on a monthly
basis, you should pay in advance. Some rents will include a
service charge for additional services such as gardening; community
lighting and cleaning, fire alarm systems and emergency care
line (Gofal Môn/Lifeline). These charges will be notified on
your tenancy agreement.
How to pay
You can pay your rent in any number of ways:
-
At a ‘Pay Point’ terminal’
Pay Point terminals can be found at all Post Offices and numerous shops and supermarkets.
Your personal Rent Payment Card is designed to make your payment quick, easy
and convenient.
Simply present this card together with
your cash or cheque (cheques should be made payable to ‘Post
Office Counters Ltd’). The Post Office will issue you with
a receipt which you should keep in the card wallet as proof
of payment. Please allow 4 days for your payment to reach us.
If your card is lost, damaged or stolen
please contact Cymdeithas Tai Eryri immediately for a replacement
-
By Direct Debit from the Bank
Your local office can give you a direct debit form so that you can pay your rent
by direct debit from your bank or building society. Your bank/building
society will pay us direct and you can choose to pay on a weekly or monthly
basis.
-
At your local office
You can pay your rent by calling in to your local office. If you do decide to
make payments at your local office, please make sure that the
member of staff who receives your payment provides a receipt
and that you keep it safe.
-
By bank card
You can also pay your rent by using any of the bank cards shown on the right side of this page.
All you need to do is phone any of our offices with the following details:
- Card Number
- Type of card
- Expiry date
- Issue Number
- The amount you wish to pay
- Confirm who’s name is on the card
For security reasons and peace of mind, if any member of staff telephone you
to ask for a payment – please ask them to confirm your tenancy
number or property code. The relevant officer will be able
to provide you with this information.
